He does, not far from me.
I hadn't seen any reports so I wondered if he was up the road with Dunfermline.
He'll be in York Hospital, I'd guess. Maybe Leeds if they're the specialists in the condition.
Frightening. You just never know the minute.

My mate had a stroke last tuesday, collapsed and couldn't use any of his left hand side. Instead of calling an ambulance, we got him in a car and took him straight to the hospital within minutes.
The doctors told us about this golden hour, that if they get them inside this time, they have a much better chance of a full recovery.
He got home on thursday, and all his faculties are fine if a little weaker on the left.
He reckons he's about 90% now but tired a lot.
Lets hope Jackie has similar results.

It can be - there are different types of stroke.
Sometimes it is a blockage in a vessel that stops blood getting round normally and supplying the brain, sometimes it is a weak vessel bursting and leaking blood into the brain.
I think...

Not for a while.
He was on the board, but not now.
He may still have a financial interest, but if he does, the fans aren't aware of it.

Ok thanks. It seemed a strange one. Did he not go from an unsuccessful stint as manager to CEO? In any case, I hope he recovers from this. Good luck Jackie.

It was something like that. I think he funded them for a while, but you know what it's like getting genuine information in football.
I could do with getting a message to his dad hence my other thread.

I read he got moved to Hull the day after his collapse. Great news he seems to be getting better.
Didn’t he write a comedy play or story book or something also?
