I'm hearing that there are going to be lots of train cancellations from Waverley tomorrow. If you happen to hear of anything RE the 09.30 to Alloa can you share it here please.

I’m planning on getting that 9.30 train. Where are you hearing about cancellations?

ScotRail app allows you to plan a trip and get a notification if something happens.

Given the weather tonight and forecast tomorrow, there's a pretty good chance. ScotRail toil with the wind. Or rain. Or sun. Or frost. Or snow. Weather basically.

I think the general advice for rail travel tomorrow is basically don’t...

Storm Ciara to bring severe gales to UK https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51425482

I don't know how I'm going to get to the game tomorrow if there's no trains.

No trains back the way from that area tonight wouldn’t half leave the city a bit fresher.

It's not a 'planned cancellation'. This page is useful https://m.journeycheck.com/scotrail/incidents?fHome=true&incidentCount=56&from=&to=&savedRoute=false&incidentsType=TRAIN_CANCELLATIONS

The Queensferry Crossing is built to withstand these winds so should be open.

No cancellations thus far. Normal Sunday service planned. You need to change at Stirling for Alloa by the way

Trains do not toil in the wind, its trees coming down and overheads coming down that cause the problems.

Closed southbound until after rush hour tomorrow morning (probably) due to snow/ice from the towers
