Hallberg was poor last night but has been one of our better and more consistent players all season. Allowed occasional off day.

I'd put Whittaker back at CDM same as Tannadice and drop Hallberg to bench

Whitty would get ripped up for arse paper by well's fast wingers much the same as what they did to us at Easter Road. they should have beat us! Hanlon and Stevenson could hardly handle them. McGregor in, to stiffen things up and Bogdan in goals

I'd happily have that line up but not that shape.
Kamberi is like a lost sheep out wide and it leaves Doidge isolated in the middle. The 3 up front has been tested loads but I feel we play much better with Doidge and Kamberi playing together through the middle.

I'd go back to the diamond with Hallberg deepest, Omeonga and Newell further up and a little wider with Boyle at the tip but given free reign to move around and take up whichever wing he thinks offers best chance of getting on the ball at any given time.

Newell walks into the team after Wednesdays efforts. I'd probably keep Steph on the bench as he's still quite far behind on match fitness and Motherwell are a very decent outfit. Other than that same team that finished on Wednesday.
