The very best part of this was where Jacob Rees Mogg in a debate in parliament where crowdfunding it was put into question stood up and said parliamentary protocol shouldn't interfere with such a thing because as a Tory he was in favour of anything that saved the public purse money by being independently funded.

This is a guy who personally and through marriage has access to a fortune of close to £200,000,000 and yet thought nothing of his mother in law filching seven and a half million quid from the public purse when it came to renovating the ancestral pile.
