It's compelling viewing with amazing footage of the last days of Jonestown.

I watched the first episode last night. Interesting stuff. Though frightening how easily a large group can be so totally brainwashed by a charismatic lunatic.....
Obviously it's not the first or last time that's happened but it still makes creepy viewing.

What became obvious to me is that he had an inner circle of enforcers, but it's not clear what was in it for them - possibly access to his Aladdins cave of drugs?
