After the cup game at Tannadice, we're at home to;

Hamilton
St Mirren
Ross County
Livingston
Hearts
St Johnstone
Celtc

Our away games take us to;

Motherwell
The Rangers
Killie
Aberdeen
Hamilton

We couldn't have asked for a much better run in to the split and if we can recruit a couple in January, I'll be expecting us to beat the teams around us to secure 6th at least.

It's going to be exciting.

All the home games bar Celtic should be easily winnable and as long as we compete then we could take something from them too.

No game in the league, never mind a derby, is easily winnable.

Complete focus, hard work and determination is needed.

18 points. 43 points in total, should see us 5th or 6th come the split.

Should be 6 home wins and possibly a draw (Celtic have a poor record at ER recently)

Away games are pure luck on which Hibs turns up. Should be beating ****ing Hamilton though.

Good chance of climbing the league but we are as likely to win or lose at the moment. We don't have a consistent style of play and performances individually and collectively go from one extreme to the other on a weekly basis. We have taken an average of 1.4 points at home compared to 1 point away this year so having more home games should give us an advantage.

No sure about it being exciting.

If we can get a good number of points on the board, in January and February, to give us a chance of catching the two above us, then maybe it will be.

But I think it will take at least a couple of very good signings to help us find the consistency needed to do that.

I think realistically the best we can hope for is 5th this season and given where we were when Hecky got punted I think that's acceptable for this season. Next season tho we really need to be building a squad to compete for 3rd.

Agree with that.

Getting fourth will require not only a big improvement by us but also a collapse by either Motherwell or Aberdeen.

On the other hand we still have the Scottish Cup to play for.

Three of them it was impossible for them to do.

Strange as it might seem, I enjoy going to games for the prospect of Hibs winning that game, with entertainment being a nice to have.

If we don't reach Europe this season, then that will be a shame but I can live with it...as long as we show signs of improving and being ready for next season.

Bayern Munich haven't won at ER in my lifetime.

That's some record as well.

Maybe not easily but we should be winning 6 of the 7 home games if we have any ambition, particularly as JR will have hopefully strengthened the team in January.

"Oh yes they have" said the Pantomime villian.

Knocked about 6 in if I remember and an ex Hibs player got one of them.
