Brilliant to see his obvious affection for the club. Legend.

Is it just me or is the photo at the very very end of the programme not the absolute double of Liverpool’s Andy Robertson

What a lovely man! Good to see more of the interview and additional comment on Hibs. Hope he's able to return to ER for a visit during his recuperation from injury.

Here too, have only felt this gutted about two players that have left Hibs, super John and Des Bremner, *** Villa 😢

Wonderful to see him not shy in acknowledging his affection for the club. I think everyone sensed that he wasn’t just a great player but a quality person, and that why we warmed to him.

Was about to post and saw this thread. In addition to everything posted above it hopefully acts as an advert to quality youngsters that hibs are a club that are progressive and help you develop into the quality of footballer you want to be. The spotlight on mcginn is a really positive portrayal of the club.

Unfortunately if Villa continue as they are John will find himself back in the Championship.

Unfortunately if Villa continue as they are John will find himself back in the Championship.

It's looking likely, right enough.

I can't decide if that's good for Hibs or not.

On the one hand, Villa might want to sell him to reduce their wage bill.

On the other, his value might reduce if he's not in the top league so our cut will be less. There's no chance anyone will buy him in January either.

He will leave. He is not a Championship player and we will land a windfall £££s

Wondering which team in England would suit him best or which manager would bring the best out of him. Not ruling out a move abroad of course (or even better home to Leith)

Unfortunately if Villa continue as they are John will find himself back in the Championship.

I think that would increase the chances of another club buying him, which will boost our finances.

Surely his next move will be to one of the big clubs.

Hopefully fit by March and a £20 million move in June :greengrin

Would be hoping for twice that in current market.
