Annoyed the hell out of me too, we've been like that all season, we've lost more goals in the 2nd half than any other team in the league, don't know why we sit back when we go in front, if it's a mentality thing then it needs changing.

But as Kris Boyd said, it is easy to play when you are 2- 0 down. Just put in a hard shift and everyone commends the effort, but it was still more in hope than in anything concrete.

Excellent. Enjoyed the game for the most part. Not one for the nerves especially in the second half.

A lot of players who've came in for stick in recent weeks playing with a lot of heart and commitment, more so Stevenson and Hanlon. Marciano made a couple of really good saves despite having a torrid time last week also.

Would've liked to see a bit more from Slivka and Horgan. A little more composure to ease the pressure but all around a good result with a lot more energy and desire... I mean we were playing Hearts after all and whilst they're struggling right now it's usually the case that when things aren't going well then a game against us might be the medicine the doctor ordered. Happy to see that's not the case and we fought hard and we'll. Fantastic finishing from Boyle and Smart thinking from Alan has gave us an extended Christmas! Merry x-mas all and GGTTH!

Met Farid El Alguie after the match. He’s currently doing his coaching badges in France but came to see us hump the hertz. Really nice guy.
That means I met two Hibees at the game today who’ve scored against them. I’ve had an amazing day out but my voice is knackered and as I bounced this fat old lump of a body about the Roseburn today I’m pretty knackered myself too.

All about the three points. Thought Ross got the team right and the subs right albeit a wee bit late. Horgan was burst an Allan is not the right type of player for that second half. Mallan slowed us down really well and Newell was good too. That allowed us to get our shape back and the defenders to catch breath. Suc

I thought it was between Lewis and Daz for MOTM with honourable mentions to Boyler and Slivka with Rocky and Naismith doing well too. I'll go against the grain and say I thought Doidge was good in the first half and won his fair share despite being outpaced by Berra a couple of times! The second half he wasn't really in the game. Allan did well setting the goals up but wasn't really at the races for much of the game and Hallberg wasn't really in the game.

Fantastic result and the defense and Rocky did well keeping a clean sheet considering Hearts were allowed to get into our final third time after time. We have played so much better than that and lost at Tiny so the three points and the Christmas Greeting to our pink chums all made for a pleasing day out.
