The British made a lot of noise last night.
They even had a big red white & blue flag saying "Scotland is British"
Not for many more weeks lads.
Any Hibs fan supporting remaining in Boris Johnson's union enjoy what they saw & heard last night?
Anyone????

Why on earth would anyone let Rangers fans Change their political opinion? I'm certainly not a Tory but if I was that wouldn't change because some vermin sang some songs.

I occasionally like to sing God save the queen and land of hope and glory but they are both the sex pistols version.
I'm a paid up member of SNP and all round good Hibby tho so I'm hopefully ok.

The songs about Northern Irish terrorist groups can GTF but whether you agree with them or not, songs like GSTQ and Rule Britannia cannot be banned and the flag you refer to is just stating a fact.

Instead of an independence referendum they should just settle it with Ian Blackford and Boris Johnson having a square go in the Palace of Westminster car park. Would be a decent, close fought pagger I think.

If I want to listen to the sound of the UK I'll listen to Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Beatles or the Rolling Stones and not a bunch of bigots.

I’m looking at getting a Kawasaki Versys, not new of course.
Just something to get me on the road again.
Interesting. :agree:
I bought a used Porsche Boxster as a summer, top down, fun car, but it was blowing smoke at start up so I took it back and got a refund.
I bought a new MX5 instead. It's not as fast as the Porsche, or your new bike, but it's a lot of fun to drive.

One of my manager thought '***** it' and impulse bought an MX5 the day after the 2016 referendum to cheer himself up.

Anyone????They're obnoxious, but the thing is they'll be doing it after independence too.
They've been getting away with things that actually are prescribed as sectarian under the very political regime that seeks independence and will in all probability be the party in power after independence is gained.

Always liked the MX 5.
Just something about it that allows it to sit comfortably in a car park with far more expensive cars.
Yes, it looks the part, but it's quite inexpensive really.. I bought the soul red one which is stunning.
I didn't think it would be great for long journeys, but I drove it to Edinburgh during the summer and it was actually quite comfortable.
It really comes into its own on the Yorkshire back roads though. 😎

I've been thinking of dressing my family up in onesies and singing a shut version of an old Rock n Roll classic. However I'm gutted to find that someone else has beaten me to it.
Not only that, they're number one in the charts. Broken Britain it's a race to the bottom.

You think it would have been different if Corbyn had got in?
The Rangers fans would have given a rousing rendition of The Internationale?
Get a grip.

On the other hand, it has raised thousands of pounds for a good cause.
Proceeds from I Love Sausage Rolls are going to food bank charity The Trussell Trust. Chief executive Emma Revie told the Guardian she was “so grateful” for LadBaby’s campaign: “The money raised will help us support our network of food banks to provide the best possible emergency help to people referred, while we work towards a future without the need for food banks.”

We can't define Britain by Rangers' away support. They are hardly the best representatives of the country, a collection of drunks, nutters and illiterates.

Much like racists and bigots have been emboldened with Brexit, I believe the Huns will have to eat some humble pie post Independence.
Simply put, they won’t be the “People” and their version of Britain (UK of NI & GB) won’t exist. Hell the flag they wave won’t even exist!
Bring it on.
A fringe benefit of independence.

Scotland's loyalists won't just lie down if independence happens. I do worry they might turn violent, like their pals across the water.

Not wanting to sound gung-ho! But I’m sure normal democracy loving people can crack a few heads as well.
Just look at some of the anti EDL / SDL marches.

If it came to a fight between right and left, my money would be on the right wingers.
Unless the left are all secretly martial arts experts, or were bitten by a radioactive spider at some point.

The right wingers vs the left wingers eh?
I'd probably pay money to watch a square go between Alan O'Brien and Paul Tosh.

Even if the left were harder they wouldn't engage in a square go until they had formed a committee, broke into working groups to plan a strategy, reported back to the steering group, half of them would leave to form a splinter group because they disagreed with the strategy and then the remaining half would have a debate about whether having a fight would simply be playing to the capitalist perceptions of the working class. Then they would all just forget about the fight altogether and go and smoke a joint.

I once bought a new, dark green Rover 75 and put my Hibs number plate on it. Unfortunately it had the butcher's apron on the boot. Always regretted buying it for that.............:cb

Will we see a rise here of the anti-fascist groups that are on the rise in America?
These groups, which have their roots in the liberal Pacific north west, are well organized, well 'tooled up' and fearless in their approach to confronting ring wing nazi groups and full blown Trumpests.
These guys aren't protest groups. They take the fight to the nazis and in many ways the are more dangerous than the rednecks they often come up against.

If Scotland does gain independence, the Sevco fans will only become even more obnoxious, staunch and steadfast in their Loyalist/British outlook.
They will most likely end up resembling a grotesque parody of their current selves.

After independence I can see the Orange Order going into politics. There could be other pressure groups getting involved too.

I can see them getting involved in much worse and they'd be well financed too.
