Dr.Levein will be handing notes down to Stendel telling him to do the same before the derby. After all, he knows about faking having the ****s to avoid a big game

tbf it's not very often they want to avoid playing us, indeed they're probably itching to play us next week, they've been on a poor run apparently

Can you postpone a game due to illness?

I think you should be able to, I'm just not sure I've heard it happen before. :dunno:

Was there not a game in the 90’s or early 2000’s called off because of flu in England? Blackburn was one team I’m sure

I'm sure Hearts tried to have one called off in 2005 but weren't successful.

Yup - here it is. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_prem/4338607.stm)

Seemingly Motherwell put in a request to cancel their recent game against hearts due to a breakout of illness but were refused.

Not like the Jambos to tell porkies

"
Despite Hearts manager John Robertson bemoaning the fact that he only had 10 fit first team players fit for this clash, the Tynecastle club were only forced into making three changes."
