Chuffed for the big man! Wasn't convinced at all to begin with. Scoring goals now and getting involved all over the pitch. Well deserved!

First Hibs player to win it since Sparky in 2013, which is kinda shocking. How they never gave it to any of Lennon's team second half of 2017/18 season boggles the mind when you consider we were the form team from January onwards.

That properly baffled me. Can't believe all of McGinn, McGeouch, Allan or even one of our in form strikers such as McNulty or Kamberi managed to avoid winning it.

Well done Christian, well deserved.

Well done big man. Play him to his strengths and he is a real asset to the team. Its a shame to see the way he was deployed by Hecky , he really did hang the big man out to dry. He has been excellent in his all round play as well as scoring goals since hecky left

McGinn and co won 1000000000000 of the things in the Championship. Think we've just played better as a team rather than having a star player since we were promoted.

He deserves the award.

And none of us would have predicted that at the end of September.

Agreed well deserved.

On the other point ,that just goes to show the bias in the game

I'm confused, what's the deal that's been agreed between Bolton and Forrest Green.

The BBC page states "Bolton Wanderers and Forest Green Rovers have reached an agreement over the transfer of Christian Doidge, which fell through last season. The forward joined Bolton on loan, with the deal set to be made permanent in January 2019, but the move collapsed as the club could not afford the £1m fee. Doidge, 27, then returned to Rovers for the rest of the season before joining Hibernian for £250,000 in the summer. The two clubs agreed the deal, which is undisclosed, at a meeting on Tuesday."

I'm assuming it is the loan payment whilst Doidge was at Bolton, but the article refers to the transfer which didn't happen.
