I see that next weeks friendly has been confirmed for Tuesday 17th, but at a new venue
The match, will now be played at Bedfont Sports Club in a 2pm kick-off. Looking at the venue, seems to be quite near Heathrow

https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/bedfontsportsfc/a/club-directory-15677.html

Any of the South based supporters going to the game?

It’s free entry, I’m sure they’d appreciate all your support!

Thx Billy, a few of us will be there though not the easiest place to get to! Probably easier for the team flying from Edinburgh!!

Fully expect a few of us to turn up....but who has our flag?

Pete Mc was the last to use it. Would be good to have it displayed.

As Hibs website is still showing this game as TBC!! I called the club to confirm its on. Eventually the very helpful receptionist found someone who was aware of the fixture & confirmed game is on. Communication remains a work in progress at ER.

2-0. Long ball hearts like that someone described as a shocking ball. A bit of backspin off the artificial surface and Shaw heads home from the 18 yard line

That's really convenient for Tommy that he works so close to the ground and that his boss allowed him to leave early enough to play the 2nd half!:flag:

Any chance of Block being brought back from Queens Park in January?

I want to see him around the first team squad and he plays in positions that we're short of.

I've never seen him play but I just like the sound of him.

No idea what the plans are for the players on loan, think we’ve around 7 or 8 away
Block’s been playing right back for the development team, but he was signed as a midfielder, and that’s where he plays at QP

We played really well & i think very much surprised Brentford with our quality. The player who could make it for me is Jamie Gullan who's strong & athletic & is now more street wise. No failures at all & every player gave 100%. GGTTH!

Brog, glad you enjoyed it. The players just need a chance at 1st team level. Oli has almost lost a year of his career sitting on the bench, I still have high hopes for him. Fraser has been on the bench last few weeks, and got on at Parkhead, and didn’t look out of place.
Here’s hoping Jack gives a few of them opportunities from January onwards

Agreed, though Fraser was pretty quiet yesterday, playing quite wide right in midfield.

21 years old Shaw and 20 years old Murray & Gullan all getting stronger and more experienced.
All just a wee bit shy of being 1st team starters. It would be great to see them getting a loan to a bottom 6 prem or top of championship club to see how they developed and progressed playing most weeks.

Gullan seems to be doing well with Raith. Interesting to see if Hibs leave him there on loan until next Christmas if they get promoted.
Would like see Fraser and Oli on loan with the likes of St Mirren or St Johnstone if they are not getting regular game time at Hibs. That would give us a much clearer idea as to whether they are going to make it at our level.
Oli about to move onto the critical age of 22 with his contract ending at the end of May 2021. It's a tough world for the young guys. Hope they can all make it.
