Cause we certainly can't hold onto a lead.

Certain players been hanging around far too long. Same players are the darlings of most of our support but they are the soft touch that opposing players love to play against.

Change is needed.

It’s mainly a problem from Heckingbottom’s time, but I’m not overly impressed with Jack Ross’ reputation he gained at Sunderland for going a goal ahead and trying to defend it for the rest of the game.

That is not what has happened in our recent matches. All subs have been attack minded, and all it shows is that we dont actually have defensive options on the bench.

Its entirely an issue with Heckinbothams signings

WE just need a new defence. That's all.

Given 1) how tight this league is (excluding Celtic and The Rangers), 2) Hibs fixtures coming up now until New Year, and 3) their inability to see out games they are leading, Hibs could very easily get drawn back into a dogfight at the bottom.

Tonight's damaging loss of all 3 points again from a winning position, to a team who previously couldn't buy a win, could prove very costly.

Nobody gets excited when we take the lead any more.

And we wouldn’t have needed to make those substitutions if we had continued to attack. In the Killie and Motherwell games we fell out of it badly in the second half.

Not a great tactic and one of the major issues Sunderland fans had with Jack Ross.

That's because many of the supporters know (or sense) that it's only a matter of time before Hibs concede a goal, if not two.

Tbf after about an hour of every match the fans can sense it happening. They just seem to drop deeper and deeper for no apparent reason. It was happening last season too and i initially thought it was milligan who kept dropping and forcing the defence back but it evidently wasnt. Killie on saturday we were in total control then 1 ball across the box that we were lucky to get away with and the entire mentality shifted and everyone could feel it coming.

We’ve pissed away 18 points from winning positions. It’s ridiculous.

If we’d held onto even half those points we’d be well in the running for 3rd.

Maybe the opposition?

Not much of an announcement tbh. Seems more like an opinion.

Good to see folk having a bit of patience for Ross. He’s going to need at least couple of windows to fix the squad that Heckingbottom lumbered us with. It’s going to be up and down until then.
