Wtf happened there then? Shambles

Was bizarre. 86 minutes played, indicates 3 minutes added time then repeated the procedure 4 minutes later.

Sums up refereeing in this country. Defined by incompetence.

I've never seen anything like that before.

Yea, bit odd. Announced 3 mins additional time on 86 minutes. Then announced it again on 90.

Not going to use it as an excuse for dropping points today but it must have had some sort of psychological impact on the players

Hibs twitter saying there was an attendance of 16,180. Did the announcer say 15,000 odd?

BBC saying 16k +. Announcer said 15200 odd?

I think 15,200 hibs and about 800 Killie?

Undeniable that it must have been a huge distraction for the players.

Crowd probably was 16k at 86th minute, then when 4th official put added time board up early, the usual 1k+ left early!! :greengrin:wink:

I know it was chilly today but I couldn’t believe how many folk were leaving at 2-1.

Confused everyone around me. We thought the scoreboard was wrong until someone checked their phone.

Absolute disgrace !

Had everyone looking at the scoreboard clock which only showed 87 minutes must surely have given Killie impetus to up the ante also HIBS fans started to leave as they obviously thought the Stadium clock was wrong

Poor!

Edit

They also announced the 3 minutes on the ninety shudda left it at that and not premature

Did the board actually go up when the first announcement was made? Still don’t get how it happened.

Yep. 4th official came out with the board and held it up.

It's a weird mistake, but this really takes the biscuit as a reason for conceding late in the game.

An absolute shambles. I assumed the scoreboard was wrong but wasn’t surprised to see 3 minutes shown again.

Not sure anyone is blaming it directly but it undoubtably affected decision making at the end of the game. Trying to understand how it happened more than anything

Happened right in front of me and could see Killie bench giving 4th official pelters for losing time for them to score.

Hibs should make an official compliant. Cannae change the result, but it certainly had an impact on how the last few mins played out.

Utterly bizarre and incompetent.....

I couldn't believe that today,I've never seen that ever before, they're celebration must have taken two minutes.
The referee was walking back with one of their players telling him I'll blow when Hibs kick off.
Cheating *******...

Cheating *******...There was 30 seconds left of the additional 3 minutes when they scored, therefore the maximum the ref should have added on would have been no longer than that, regardless of how long they took celebrating

It’s worthy of complaint given the confusion it caused, particularly for the side trying to see the game out more so than the side chasing the game. Amateur hour from both the official and match announcer. Every fan in the ground had one eye on the stadium clock - between the two of them the error should have been seen before broadcasting the added time

The 4th official indicated to us pitch side, that we had three minutes remaining and that the scoreboard time was incorrect. Announcements made must go to the instruction given by the forth official. We were informed on the 86th minute (correct time) that the game had three minutes remaining when infact we had 4 minutes plus three additional given.

Hope it helps understand what happened.

I don't think there was many people that thought it was your fault, as you clearly only announced what you were told to.

It was the fhe fourth official that messed up.... but not nearly as much as the Hibs players that couldn't hold on to the lead for another 30 seconds.

I have never understood people who leave early. I am sure there are people who missed the greatest moment in the Club's history because they were half way up the road to their cars when David Gray headed the winner at Hampden.

As well as being bewildering, it's also deeply annoying when folks start standing up in front of you when the match is at a crucial point.

Amateur hour on the part of the official(s) responsible for this utter mess.
