It really shouldn't. I think the mass majority realise we would not have won the cup without Stokes. Which gives him legend status with us forever, whatever people may think of him as a person or a player.

He's been a professional athlete for what, +10 years? You don't get that without hard work - seems to me that he's more than made the most of his career.
