Share issue in New Year. They need £11 million to see them to the end of this season.

Fans will lap it as best chance to stop 10 in a row.

Agreed. I can't think of any other reason he would want to stand down

Check the details from their AGM ...

£35 million converted from soft loans to equity in the last 18 months!

£11.3 million loss in the financial year.

£10 million needed to finish this season with any shortfall being met by King's family trust.

King says The Rangers have 'emerged from the crisis' he and his cronies inherited in 2015.

Their AGM gives him a standing ovation.

Unbelievable.

Yes accounts to 30 June. Kent signed on 22 July.

Is he going to leave and then make another return next year, blaming the incumbent board for not having the best interests of his beloved zombies at heart?

Maybe they're feeling the heat from the cold shoulder and he's going to pretend to walk away while going nowhere and just pulling the strings from the background. Possibly a tactic to get them access to cash that isn't immediately converted into red, white and blue confetti.

I keep in mind that this season & next season are likely to be huge chances for a Scottish Cup win for someone outside the Old Firm.

If you look at 1997 (Kille v Falkirk Final) and 1998 (won't go into detail but a nonOF winner) the 9IAR and potential 10iar seasons, when the 2 glasgow clubs were so tightly close at the top of the table, sees the League become the absolute be all and end all in the Weege.

The cup becomes "who cares" until the semis for the Celtic & Rangers supports.

So a nice wee outside chance that we'll win 2 Scottish Cups this decadebefore The Rangers have even won one...

When he took over didn't he say that his job was simple 'to restore rangers to the top of the table' ? - no great shock that he isn't a 'man' (knuckle-scraper) of his word !

Nothing but a vile and divisive cheat - all the 'qualities' that are Hun through and through !

£10 million needed to finish the season plus whatever damages get awarded to Mike Ashley/Sports Direct (New Huns have already lost the case but we await the bill).

That and his cold shouldering probably indicates the rest of the board have had enough of him at last.

With any luck he's done walking away before the January judgement. I wonder if he already knows what the figure is likely to be and knows it's un-payable. Oh that would be very nice lol......

Yeah Oldco being resurrected and HMRC to provide the new old club with a £50m warchest... if you believe the usual suspects.

Back on planet reality, HMRC seem to have dropped some claims against Oldco but the company was teetering even without the tax cases. If they could have survived long enough to see out the process they would have done.

Correct - they stopped trying since there was no realistic possibility of getting the money owed. The concept that Sevco are due a sum of money is nonsense....

It's going to take big money to clear the losses/pending court judgments alone. I hope they go down with all engines on fire. My worry is that MA rides in to the rescue, he can get a better return on Sevco than he will at NUFC........

All round good egg, not a "glib and shameless liar" at all.

As much as i despise everything about rangers. As a club with the fanatic fanbase and infrastructure they have, in terms of football clubs, they wouldn't be the worst investment for a crazy rich person who wants a football club...

The brand and assets were available for practically nothing in 2012 and nobody went for it except a bunch of shady crooks looking to make a quick buck. Since then nobody has put in any money except die hard Huns desperate to stop Celtc's 10iar. They are spending way beyond their means trying to catch up. With any luck it will all end in tears.
