The 23rd of November 2019 sees Jack Ross in the dugout for the 1st time and everyone is eagerly anticipating a new and positive time for Hibs.
Roll back 6 years exactly to 23rd November 2013 and Hibs fans were piling into St Mirren Park eagerly anticipating the new era under Terry Butcher. We drew 0-0.

The Jack Ross years are going to work out a lot better surely....

Let’s hope the date of their first game is the only thing Jack Ross and Terry Butcher have in common when it comes to Hibs management

Did Jack Ross not score a cracking diving header winning own goal for Hibs against St Mirren once?

Good pub quiz question “the first Glasgow ground to host a European tie”.

Whenever there is high expectations and a huge support we nearly always fail to deliver on the park.

My experience over the last thirty odd years tells me that whatever happens today, it won’t make our new manager the best thing since sliced bread or the biggest mistake either. It’s going to take time and we as a supper must be patient.

Fairly similar circumstances too. Fans chase out previous boss. A couple of good results and we would climb the table. Ross like Butcher has had success and failure.
