I've done my time but my boy has turned 5. His first game was at Stirling, which amazing hot day. Though I’m planing his ER debut on the 30th, which stand should we go for?

If he’s 5 take him to the famous five lower. I took my daughter there for her first game, but it was anything but family friendly, but I believe things have changed this season and it’s great for the kids now.

My wee boy is 5 and for his first game we sat in the west upper towards the south. Good view and he enjoyed it.

You won't get a big choice on where to sit though!

You get a great view from the FF upper and to me it's one of the warmer stands if its a cold day. Hope he enjoys the game

FF Lower puts on games and drawing for the kids before the game, Half time there’s also a tolerance for them to move about in the concourse as well keeps them going for the game also get a visit from the mascot at half time

I don’t think it matters which stand these days. Seats near an exit for those inevitable trips to the toilet which will come at anytime apart from halftime. There is no protection from swearing and the odd person that may go ott in their reaction to what’s going on, it’s all part and parcel of going to watch Football. From my experience it’s all about building them up for how exciting it is (even if it’s not) in Sky sport presenter style. Enjoy the father/son bonding experience that only sports can bring !!

Best feeling taking your child to a game as a father, took my wee boy last year for his first game against partick thistle, Hibs winning 2 0 that day, he got distracted now and again, but loved the experience as a whole, kept match day programme and ticket for the match also got him his first Hibs strip that day, I really should get it all framed.

Thanks guys. While he was great without all the new entertainment stuff in Stirling I may give the Famous five lower a go. Though if it's pissing it down I may go somewhere else.

He had a great time in Stirling even started his own chants.

Here he is on the way out of the game...https://twitter.com/stkristopher82/status/1157361344095694849?s=21
