Most honours as Hibs player

I'm trying to work out which player is the most decorated in our club's history whilst at the club. Stevenson's SC, LC and championship come to mind but who has won most over the years?

Surely there was a few that played in all three championship winning seasons late 40s/early50s?

I'm sure Gordon Smith won 3 titles with us, 1 with Hearts and 1 with Dundee. One of the all time great individual feats in the history of the Scottish game IMO.

According to Wikipedia (yes, I know...!!), Willie Ormond won the three league championships won by the club during his time at the club (1946-1961). He also was at the club for runners-up medals in 3 league championships, 2 x SCs and 1 x LC (I'm assuming that he was in the squads/teams for all these honours). That record will be kind of hard to beat.

Pat Stanton won Summer Cup, 2x Drybrough Cups and League Cup.
Always felt Drybrough Cups were under valued. You had to be one of the top 4 highest scorers in the league to even qualify. Everyone took it seriously and crowds were equivalent to Scottish Cup finals today.

You know that club Celtic, best fans in the world, welcome the world over, wouldn't hurt a fly, fair play to anyone who beats us fair and square on the pitch, we're not Rangers etc etc.....:rolleyes:

Yep, they did it in the 5-3 game. IIRC we were 3-0 up at the time and it knocked us right out of our stride. Good guys won in the end though :greengrin
