Think the ball from Kamberi is played level or even back...so can’t be offside....

Don’t think the direction of the ball makes any difference, it’s Doidge’s position in relation to the ball that counts, the ball is the offside line, I’m fairly sure he is behind the ball, although I’ve not seen it back.

You can only be offside from a forward pass...that’s my point

The pressing for allans goal is superb. From Newell pressing the boy in to flicking it first time allows Hallberg and Allan to press high as they know he’s turning into no where to pass to. High pressing works effectively when done in numbers. Exactly what hecky said he was going to do in his early days. May gets it done in 5 days. Brilliant to see. The stats were exactly where I want them to be. Fire at will type. Enjoyed a Saturday and Sunday for a change.

Love the delight on the bairns faces as Scott Allan high-fives them behind the goals after he scored !

Doidge scored the first with his right, the third with his head, and I'm 90% sure the second was with his left.

When was the last time a hibs player scored a "perfect hat trick"?

Wrong. Direction of pass irrelevant.

Well sortof, but in the context of Saturday's game, the point being made was that Doidge was running forwards to meet a ball being played backwards - and therefore he could not, logically, have been in an offside position when the ball was played.

No, I think the second was flicked in with the inside of his right foot.

He can't do anything with his left.
