Absolutely delighted for him, fingers crossed he gets a well due confidence boost.

Brilliant for him, Albania producing some very good players just now

Agreed. That excellent goal against Celtic can't have hurt either.

Simply has to start for us.

Excuse my ignorance but... I thought he was Swiss?

Eligible for both, and Kosovo IIRC.

After being watched by Sergio Porrini the Albanian assistant coach. Sure you could get 14/1 on Porrini the other day for the Hibs job. As others say hopefully can get a game and get some confidence

Adds to any future Transfer Value if he does well for them
Just wish we could get a team and formation. that allows him to get back on scoring form regularly When partnered with Doige earlier i. Season it didn’t seem to gell
Admittedly it wasn’t used much
Wonder if May will deploy two up top away from home or be more cautious as Caretaker Boss and just try and avoid defeat
Hoping May gives Shaw and Murray a new lease of life

Funnily enough there was an article in the News (https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hibs/latest-hibs-news/michael-oconnor-how-hibs-trialist-fared-reserve-team-win-over-celtic-853684) discussing this yesterday (near the end of the article)

There are quite a few Swiss Albanians. Shaqiri and Xhaka are two who elected to play for Switzerland.

Good on him he deserves to play at the international stage:thumbsup: He must have given up on a Swiss call up though.

At this stage he’s no good enough for Switzerland imo

I think he has the potential but his career has stuttered at Hibs recently, no thanks to our outgoing head coach.

What about Lennon as well?

He didn't fancy Lenny either, did he? I reckon an Albanian coach is our only hope.

Switzerland are 8th in the world and he’s struggling to get a game for Hibs at 24. He’s a million miles from getting in their squad IMO. Playing for Albania is sensible if he want to play international football.

Certainly not in the role of lone striker. In another formation he can be a decent player.

That's quite a low bar*, to be fair

* Puns expected.

Someone will object to the puns, but as a tolerant person I say each toblerone.

Indeed. No wonder we're only 1 point off the bottom.

Him and Scott Allan have 6 goals each. The other 20 odd players have 14 between them. Definitely Flo is the one not good enough.

I haven't given my opinion on anyone else as this thread is about Kamberi.

I’m sure he’s quoted to play against France next week.
