Best candidate for the job imo, has recruited good players at Motherwell and seems to play a good style of football.

Ross doesn't seem to have any character whenever I have seen him with a negative style and not sure he will connect with the fans, but of course if he gets it will get full backing.

Have Motherwell not finished 10 10 and 7 in the last 3 seasons. Not exactly great??

I’m sure our support will give him 3 seasons before the goods start getting produced.

Not just his signings though.

Look at the amount of youth players they are bringing through. Granted that is not all down to him but he has no hesitation in playing them,

No, he's more of a Hearts type manager than a Hibs one. Just a personal view.

Would prefer Jack Ross imo

No from me.

Bang average at Motherwell and has benefited from ourselves, Aberdeen and Hearts being utter ***** this season. If 2 of the 3 of us find any kind of form he won't make top 6. Again.

I can see how this is gonna pan out.... He'll "talk" to both clubs then choose them. I'd rather not be interested in him tbh.

Gordon Strachan for me please. He might say the odd crackpot thing, but he’d stop the rot, bench the non-performers, and get us playing more attractive football.

Pound for pound, Tommy Wright is the most consistently successful manager in Scottish football. At a club with a miniscule budget and Gates of 3000 or less, he has more often than not made top 6 and also won the Scottish Cup.Apart from the usual rubbish about not liking the man, it is claimed that he plays boring football. I don't believe that is true but he will play on a way that suits the limited talents available. There was nothing boring about the way the Saints played on the second half against us. They took us apart and deserved the win let alone the draw they got.TW is turning around a bad spell at St J as he has always done.
He has a better record than Robinson.
I wonder why fans in general always look for a name like Keane or flavour of the month like Robinson.

I hope Hearts somehow get him and Jack Ross. That way we avoid both.

What does that even mean?

If we get better results and hammer Hearts more often than not, then who cares.

Jack Ross for me.

Successful with Alloa then took St Mirren from relegation candidates to getting them promoted and winning manager of the year.

Produced/gave a chance to good youth players with St Mirren - Mallan, Magennis, Morgan and Mcallister.

Great knowledge of Scottish football and knows how big a job hibs is and what we expect.

Sunderland was a near impossible challenge with fans still thinking they’re a premiership team. He got them to a cup final and play off final.

Out of 75 games with them he only lost 10.

He would be a massive appointment for us imo and is still young, giving him the motivation and enthusiasm to succeed and prove a point.

One swallow does not make a summer.
Not for me.

Strachan as per last time would be the dream but i think he has decided management is no longer for him.
Moyes wouldn't come and might not be any good.
Ross is the stand out from the realistic names quoted. I believe he would do a good job for the club and the fans.

This seems too Terry Butcherish for me.

Robinson was accused of systematic bullying by a former Oldham player.

I'm not sure what happened with it as Motherwell claimed defamation, Robinson refused to comment, then it seemed to fizzle out.

If the accusation is true, then Butcherish indeed. That's not to say it is of course.

Can see Hearts panicking and getting this guy in on far higher money than they need to.
Is he exceptional? I don't think so and the Hearts squad are a real mess at the moment.

I'd have been gutted if we went for him. Motherwell were half decent at the start of the season, only reason they were so high in table for a brief spell is because the rest around them (us, hearts etc) were dire.

No sustained success anywhere, would have been a terrible appointment.

He would be a very good appointment for Hearts and I for one hope he does not go there.
