I agree.

Yesterday showed that he flourished when he could burst forward and get about the park a bit more. He could be a big asset in the right set up.

Hopefully the new manager can get the best out of him.

He gets pulled all over the place trying to cover for Vela and co, who are not tracking their runners. Works his socks off, he would benefit from better central midfield buddies. When slivka was in there we looked stronger instantly

I know it's a massive call to make but I think Ben Stirling would be good in beside halberg instead of Vela. I've seen a lot of Ben and he gets about the pitch well protecting the back 4 when played in the holding roll. Massive difference coming into this side but he can't be any worse an option than Vela

No coincidence we tend to fall to pieces when he comes off in games and we move Mallan inside. Quality player, him and Allan would thrive off an energetic midfielder like McGinn was. Very composed finish yesterday also.

One of the few players at the moment who can hold his head up high for how he's conducting himself and performing. Hopefully whatever manager we get in after PH leaves manages to get the best out of him rather than ask him to carry the passengers around him.

The only signing I'm still excited by. Gets stuck in, his passing stats are the best of all our midfielders and he's shown capability of filling the box-to-box role that others haven't. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in a team with more balance, identity and confidence.

I think Hallberg is the energetic one. It’s the McGeough type that’s missing for me.

Wouldn't go as far as saying he's a great signing. He's been good but I'm not sure if thats just because the others have been utter dross and he looks good when he's probably just OK.

Very comfortable on the ball, think he can offer a lot more than he currently is as there is more to his game than receiving and playing a short pass. Another defensive midfielder in there with who can mix it up would make a huge difference and allow Allan to focus on his own game.

Im actually a big fan of James too, think technically he is very very good but he clearly has a lack of confidence defending 1 vs 1s and doesn’t want to get too close in case the winger skips past him.

His fitness is much better now and he has avoided injury during the process.
Has been given an easy ride so far because the players around them have been so poor.
Jury still out for me.

Porteous is the only Hibs player i have no doubts over at the moment.

He gets stronger and stronger and better every game and will improve even more with regular ninety minute game time

A tired Hallberg is better than Stevie Mallan in that position

I would not be surprised if the uglies are taking note already he looks better than Kamara and is younger than Scott Brown 😁

Some might laugh but I am looking forward to seeing Hallberg playing with Slivka in midfield both are mobile get around the pitch and are good footballers they might just compliment each other Slivka would have to learn how to tackle though 😁
