Another big hibs fan, Norval Barclay, has passed away.

I'm sure he will have been known to many.

RIP Norval

Sad news. His memory will match on - ‘Back home to Leith’ is an outstanding Hibs tribute song 💚

Rest in Peace.

Sadly I too lost a good friend to this illness only a few weeks ago, good Hibee too, aged only 38.

Puts it all in perspective.

I knew Norval from Turnhouse Golf Club. A gent, a talented musician and a, erm, determined, golfer! 😊

I liked him. R.I.P.

Strength to all his family and friends to get through this
Back home to Leith a tremendous song just the wrong year
I listened to it prior to the 2016 final and had a tear in my eye for sure
Thanks for the song Norval I love it.
RIP.

RIP.
I never knew Norval but his grandfather, Bill Barclay Snr, worked for my grandfather in his Linoleum shop in Leith Walk.
Condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear that, far too young.

Gutted to hear this, used to work with Norval at Willie Low's on Broughton Street when we were both 17 as Saturday boys. We would take it in turns to get to leave early so one of us could get to Easter Road when Hibs were at Home. Great bloke who I kept in touch with over the years despite only working together for about 18 months back in the mid 1980's

Sad news, I worked with Norval for a number of years and unfortunately 😀 was his golf partner in our weekly Safeway foursomes at Craigentinny, sleep tight big man.
