To be fair, It’s unclear how fast he was moving as he raced into the box.

Also he probably thought that the goalie would have more chance to save if he let the ball run across his body. So he cleverly tries to go for the other corner.

Horgan has been shocking this season. A winger that can’t cross anymore, I know wingers can be like that but I can’t believe how far he’s gone backwards. I can’t understand why he’s shooting the other way, the goal was open...just hit the target.

Horgan has been very poor apart from the 1 glorious game at Tynie.

Runs about allot never much of an end product. Does not have a great cross, often chooses the wrong option.

I would empty him along with Vela, Doige, Jackson, Naismith, Newell

Neat build up play and cross between Mallan, Doidge, and Newall. Defender probably puts Horgan off but that's no excuse; shocker of a miss.

That's a sitter much more so than any of the Doidge chances in Aberdeen.

Agreed - that was an utter shocker of a miss which is not unrepresentative of Horgan's season so far. Murray has a bit of class about him and deserves a shot.
