Anyone have an idea when these will go on sale?

For a game that is unlikely to sell out, I cannot understand why they aren't put on sale at the earliest opportunity. Surely the earlier they go on sale the more tickets sold?

I thought that, but given the uptake last time we had Celtic in the league cup semi it would make sense to me. If we can sell out the initial 17k tickets quickly then it gives us more of a say to get the rest of our allocation to make it 50/50. But aye, imagine itll be 1 per ST.

Maybe a short timescale for season ticket holders then make it two per season ticket then general sale with a booking history.

Unless you are paying £30/£35 then you aren't getting a prime seat.

Thats entirely your choice, but i and I am sure others would like the opportunity to purchase a 'prime' seat and the privilege of being a ST holder is that you have a greater opportunity to do so when the sales are restricted, even for 1 day....

They are the south lower tickets close to the half way line in section O2.

They can’t do 2 per head cos there’s a risk that not all ST holders would get a ticket. Unrealistic or not that’d be the case.

2 per ST gives us the best chance of selling more tickets. People might tag along with a friend that’s a st holder. Even if we were playing well there’s no chance we’d sell 17k tickets so I hope the club take the sensible approach.

This is about the one time they could do two per season ticket and have the risk of people potentially missing out, justifying it against any complaints by saying the 2017 semifinal was only half sold. Doubt they will though, but they should make it a free for all within a day or two.

That’s gonna happen if we sell the 17k early anyway, the ‘fair weather fan’ will get the North stand seats that get opened up*

*although the SPFL will give us about 2 days to shift the first batch before giving celtic the rest to ensure we don’t get them.

Callum, if 65% of our season ticket holders were to buy 2 tickets, there would be none left for the rest of them!
Also why should someone who might not have been to a game this season, be able to get a better seat at Hampden than a season ticket holder!
Hibs are in a no win situation here, with our potentially reduced allocation

It would be the easiest way to shift the tickets though. It's not going to happen but it would mean everyone could sit with who they wanted to from the off.

In 2017 we were flying. Just promoted etc.

So 2 per season ticket then. We still only sold around 12,500 tickets. It would be crazy to make it 1 per ST. I get your point about folk getting better seats than others, but there’ll be plenty left in both stands.

Not ever ST would be guaranteed a ticket though mate. And folk would complain - look at the uproar about HSL giving 500 points to new members.
