Heading up north early tomorrow. I’m hoping we can take something from Pittodrie
Wonder what sort of team will play, team that started v Celtic?
Anyone know if Jackson has recovered from his knock, or will Ryan be back in?

I’ll take a score draw right now!

Even if he has recovered I wouldn’t have thought Jackson should play - head knocks like that are too serious to take a chance with.

Me too Billy and looking forward to it!

Think Ryan will definitely slot back in but good to know Whitts is an able CH replacement.

Otherwise think it'll be the same team v Celtc to give continuity.

Get the 1st goal and the home crowd could turn putting the pressure on another team for a change!

Aye, he was all over the place trying to walk off the pitch. Porteous will play.

Never a good time to play a team just after they've been pumped

Hibs have confirmed Jackson is out after having concussion

It’s actually just been confirmed on Facebook by the official account that he’s responded well but will not be playing.

TO confirmed there should be tickets up there, just waiting on the official announcement.

Same team (other than Ryan for Adam) for me - which includes the same commitment and desire please.

If it's mainly the same team I think the best we'll get is a 0-0.There's no goals in that team-there's hardly any shots never mind any on target.

Sean O'Hanlon scored that day. How time flies when your having fun. A friday night in january watching willo ****ing flood score from about 40 yards kickstarting our descent into the championship in a 1-0 loss is without doubt one of the worst experiences i can ever remember. Coldest ive ever been at a game

When I was a student in Aberdeen I went to 8 Hibs games - saw 7 defeats and one 2 - 2 draw - after having been 2 - 0 up.

And people complain about the current manager! This was the Ferguson era Aberdeen though - they were a great team.

Hope for a better score tomorrow.

Draws not really enough for us at the moment if we want to get back into things.

Why can we not expect to go up there and win.

3 points please to lift us

Not ideal.

Time for a change tomorrow.

Our record against Aberdeen over the last few years has been terrible. Think it was the team Lennon struggled with the most also.

We have played them 31 times in the past 10 years, the stats are;

P-31
W-8
D-8
L-15

Our record at Pittodrie in that time is;

P-11
W-3
D-2
L-6

A hard fought score draw will probably be the result. Albeit I think it could also just as easily go either way as both teams are unpredictable just now but I'm thinking a draw will be the outcome. However, I would thoroughly welcome a win up there at a ground that's never an easy one to take all three points from.

Mon the Hibs.

Howler of a ground for us to get a result at. They're in a sticky spell though and have a few injuries don't they? I do think we'll get a result though.

It is but never a better time to get them than now
Our Bogey team over past few Seasons, even when we have been better team
So would take any result tomorrow apart from a defeat

I really really can’t stand them or their deluded fans.

Theyre poor but still a threat as they know how to grind out results and get a win, always a threat with guys like Cosgrove, Hedges and McGinn.

Would love us to finally put one over on them.

Hibs win and Doidge to get his first league goal. Some the thing about Doidge I would just love if he was a massive success

To be precise, 11/10 is the same as 22/20. 2/1 Hibs is only a better bet if you think they’ll win. Some on here might say that, given our record at Pittodrie and our dubious present form, Aberdeen at 21/20 is a much better bet.

How is that a good bet? Our record at Pittodrie is poor but it doesn’t make them such overwhelming favourites.

Surely better value elsewhere.

The manager certainly does as proved before. The players need a big performance today though. Based on our last two results I'm a bit more optimistic. I think a draw is on the cards and it take it.

Our team in general and our defence in particular is so poor that anything other than a defeat will be a huge surprise - still, football throws up surprises at will (last week's draw with Celtic a case in point) and Aberdeen are not "great" at the moment either, so who knows?
A hefty defeat today however and Mr H. has to go: Wonder what our new owner think about the current dismal state of the team?

They're not as strong in midfield and going forward as they have been in recent years, but their defence is still solid.

They'll probably edge a horrific game 1-0, we might scab a 0-0 or 1-1.

I'm glad I'm not going.

I wouldn’t call the difference in the odds overwhelming, but Aberdeen are certainly clear favourites. From a bookie’s point of view it makes sense. I wouldn’t put a bet on this match but if I were forced to put £50 on one of them, my cash would have go on Aberdeen.
