It'll be the first time in a long time we'll have gone to Hampden with next to no probability of winning. No pressure on us at all. Strangely looking forward to it

Any ideas when the tickets might go on sale, and what our allocation will be. After our last semi with Lenny's side we only half filled our allocation which i thought was quite poor so I think we will only get the West stand this time though i hope we can get more.

Likely the south stand and west stand maybe more depending on take up.

What a grim day that was. Pissing down all day. We'll probably take the same ammount if not less this time.

We’ve got a hell of a lot fans who claimed they wouldn’t be back until PH was away. Will be interesting to see how many we take if he’s still here.

We took 10k last time we played Celtic in the LC semi. Good effort IMHO. Only Rangers would take more. Lucky to take 7k this time unless there’s an upturn in our form or a new manager to get the fans back on side.

2012 onwards Hampden has been like a second home. Seven semi finals, four finals and a cup. Only two seasons we haven't been there.

I would like PH replaced by the start of the next quarter but still need to back the team on the pitch as much as possible

We had an outside chance there - more so than this time anyway. IMO.

Strange we took a doing that day but I actually enjoyed the day out.
Because there was no expectation to win nobody was too bothered about the result, the majority of the fans stayed till after the final whistle and were in fine voice, even outsang the celtic support

Last year semi final dates were announced two days after the quarters so we should find out soon.

A few of us have had a hunch that we might be a bit skinter than we'd expect to be - I wonder if this is one of the reasons our playing budget looks sparser than normal?

This result will be huge for the club financially - we'll get a quarter share of the pooled gate receipts for the two games and (presumable) some TV money. That's a decent wedge of cash, a wedge of cash we were picking up fairly frequently for a while there but not last season.

It would be nice to think it might go towards a defensive midfielder or another striking option but let's face it, it'll get us a bit of a footballing barn in our quest to win a badge from Petrie.

How is 10k at a sem-final a good effort? We often take well over 15k to semi-finals.

Wasn't it about 12.5k that we took in 2017?

But agree not our largest support to head to Hampden, but not to bad, when you compare other attendances at this stage in the LC. The Hearts v ICT semi in 2014 total attendance was 12,752 as a comparison. I'm sure the attendance at our fixture with Celtic (39,813) was one of the largest in many years for a LC semi-final other than an Old Firm fixture. Granted due to there being over 27000 Celtic fans.

Expect we will get half south then start selling the west stand in sections. Celtic will get half south, all east and north.

That would stop Celtic selling more than 25k. We will only take 10-15k max. So would be unfair to stop Celtic.

Never mind unfair to stop Celtic selling more tickets we all must rise
to the challenge and try and sell half the stadium this is the trouble with
scottish football teams like us Hearts and Aberdeen always feeling inferior

Would be unfair to our own support to get rammed behind the goal miles from the pitch with a ***** view. Not our fault Hampden is a *****hole with very few decent views. We shouldn’t be punished for that.

Them getting more than half at a neutral venue could also be considered unfair. Again, **** Celtic. I hope they get zero tickets.

Not uncommon to see unsold seats for a Hampden league cup semi, but Hibs will quite rightly push for a fair distribution, particularly for the better seats in North. Hibs Hampden turnouts in recent years will justify that, and hopefully the less regular fans who enjoy a Hampden outing will still be up for a day out. A Saturday fixture would be best to help that.

A lot depends on the results between now and the semi final. Have a decent run of form, highly unlikely from what I've seen first hand this season, and we'll take up to 15K. A poor run and it'll be nearer 8-9K sadly.

If Celtic turn up we won't win regardless if they have 100 or 40000 fans there, be better taking the cash from a full house to help pay for Heckys 3 years of gardening leave

I see no reason we shouldn’t take 15000. Aye we’re very average and have been stinking recently but it’s a semi final. If you’ve no family commitments or work etc I can’t understand why you’d stay away from a Semi Final. And that’s coming from someone who still wants Heckingbottom so far to **** and has been bored into submission watching us recently.
