Not many after witnessing that capitulation.

But Hallberg and Naismith look like a step up from the previous signings and I wonder if they are recruitment team choices rather than Heckingbottom signings

They may well prosper under fresh management.

That sums it up nicely.

Not sure about Naismith.

Doesn’t seem to have improved us defensively and doesn’t offer much going forward from what I’ve seen. Hallberg might have something, should have scored though.

Clutching at straws comes to mind. Beat from the worst hearts team I’ve seen in a long time. 0 positives

Can take getting beat by them, but they absolutely passed us off the pitch for the majority.

No positives. Its another low point. Only thing i can think of is Hearts werent any better than us. Just got the lucky deflection to win it.

Maxwell looked comfortable in the air.

Porteous got through the game.

Hallberg, and to an extent,Vela gave us some shape in the middle.

Middleton looked good when he game on.

Mallan scored a screamer.

Kamberi showed some promise in the second half, with a bit more support/space I reckon he could come good again.

Hecky might get punted shortly.

We got a seat in the pub straight after the game.

I'm just glad that game's out the way.

Was dreading it, the result was the one we were all dreading and now it's done.

Not that I'm looking forward to any of the other games that are coming our way right enough.

Backed off all game. There's a reason he was out of favour at mighty Peterborough.

I take no positives today,it only gives fuel for people to carry on regardless at the club, its another defeat and we are sliding down the table.

The only positive I can see is that this will get Heckingbottom out the door this week.

Another game under Porteous belt.
Maxwell good at catching the ball and good with his feet but didn't stop any of the goal bound shots.
Middleton did well when he came on.
Kamberi looks fit and ready to play BUT had no support. Needs Doidge on as poacher.

Hibs best play occurred after Hearts 2nd goal when they at last had the right players on the pitch.

Of the 2 managers in the dugout today Heckingbottom was the 2nd to try and thus provide corroboration that 4-6-0 is not a viable formation.

I'm calling that a positive for the football intelligentsia amongst us.

Hallberg looked way off the pace from minute one , clumsy on the ball and second to everything, should have been hooked long before he was.

With exception of Mallan's screamer, zero positives to take from the game. Regardless of Mallan's goal the defence has more leaks than the Titanic and we will concede more than we score. Next week is a worry.

No positives fir me at all.

We are toothless, gutless and rudderless.

An utter shambles on the pitch and we need a new manager at the helm to sort it out,

Surprised the manager wasn’t sacked at 5pm to be honest. He cannot he in charge any longer. A terrible appointment

Porteous, The goalkeeper's agressive safe handling, Mallan's superb goal and late sub Middleton's great run which was so nearly a goal were all positives for me. The overriding negative was why wait so long to bring Middleton on when he was clearly up for it and was a very good attacking option to relieve the pressure when a goal up? Attack is sometimes the best defence but we chose to sit in deep which ultimately stuffed us.

We need a personable manager next who can get the most from this rabble. And they are a rabble. The danger is appointing someone who has the 'cull attitude' like Butcher. I remember speaking to James McPake before a game v Hearts when he was injured and helping Hartley and he said that the minute Butcher walked in and did his 'introductions' it was over. He lost the players from the minute he stepped into the club.

Hence we need a Stubbs-like character who can re-energise and put life and fun back into them. There's a seriousness about the squad but not in a positive way - players need to express and feel invigorated - Heckingbottom and his assistant don't convey that. Change needs to happen this week. End of.

Have to agree. Couldn't keep up with the pace of the game and was so knackered at half time he struggled to walk off the pitch. Both he and Vela were pretty much anonymous most of the game.

I must have been at a different game to some on here as Hallberg was useless and missing a sitter to put us 2-0 up summed up his performance. Vela nowhere near Hibs class, lazy or unfit as he was breathing out of his arse for the last 30 minutes. Naismith just looked like a big daft laddie and again nowhere near Hibs class. Doidge - lets spend £300k on him and bring him on in the 85th minute.
Heckingbottom is another Butcher waiting to happen.

Watched the whole game as it happened. The result makes you see it through tinted glasses. If the Swede had put us two up and Hearts had not scored- one a goal mouth scramble and the other a vicious deflection - you would have had a completely different view of the game. One thing that is objective no matter the result is the stars. That us what I based my comment on.

The new ticketing system was working in the FF. Well, I say working which in this case meant 7 out of the ten people in front got in no problems with only three having to reverse out and approach the stewards. I honestly believe this could be fully operational for the start of our return to the championship.

Your opinion is yours and you are free to express it.

Do not presume to tell me mine. For me, there are huge problems with our team just now that go beyond results (but results are dire).

I agree with the consensus view: Hecky is out of his depth.

I managed to drink enough on Saturday that I never made it to the game.

Hecky SHOULD be more likely to be finished now.

Levein will be more likely to stay put.
