Assuming Malian is dropped against the Hertz and we get a free kick in a pretty central position, twenty yards from their goal, who takes the shot at goal.

I'm assuming it'll be Allan, but what do you think?

I'm guessing it'll be Mallan..... Though I wouldn't disagree that he deserves to be dropped-i just doubt he will be.

Didnt Hallberg score a few on his youtube complation? Mallan hasnt scored a freekick for about a year now so itll hardly be a loss if heckingbottom finally decides to drop him

Have we been playing Mallan in midfield for the past few months in the eventuality that this might happen?

I'd rather have a foothold in midfield and pass up the odd eventuality that there's a 50/50 chance someone will duff it into the wall just like Mallan normally does.

It would be fair to say my patience ran out a while back.

I’d suspect it’d be Allan or Flo. I wouldn’t be massively confident of either.

Agreed! I'd take a balanced minefield over an unbalanced one with a so called threat from free kicks (can't remember the last one he scored).

Mallan hasn't scored one in over a year now so even if he was on the pitch I'd be asking for someone else to have a shot.
