Can they not even come out and give him the dreaded "vote of confidence"?
I saw Ron Gordon pose for a few photographs yesterday, but aside from his opening statement re future league challenges, this must be the dampest squib takeovers in the history of damp squibs.
I really hope the Board aren't betting the farm on hoping that he beats that mob - because that's a high stakes strategy from a club that culturally is normally extremely cautious, and especially with Celtic and Aberdeen on the horizon too, we need decisive action.
Looks like the lines of communication have dried up though, and I get the feeling that Gordon and Paton are a continuation of the "steady as we go" approach so favoured by our previous owners, but in the absence of any further public pronouncements, who knows?
