Why are we handing out professional contracts to 16 year olds? We as a club should be going for players with far more life experience. This would never have been allowed to happen under Petrie's watch we are an utter shambles at the minute. Heckingbottom out.

Only kidding. Well done Josh.

Out for 18 month with a cruciate ligament injury sustained when he was 14!
That is tough.
Good luck Josh.

I know you’re joking but I was genuinely wondering that. It seems odd to hand him a three year pro contract that will take him up to 19. I’m surprised we wouldn’t wait until he was a little older and give him a big contract.

I suppose he must be highly rated.

Good luck wee man

If it's who I think it is, he was physically head and shoulders above kids his age when he played boys football. When he played in the seven a side matches, he looked around 2-3 years older than the others. I'm not just talking about height, he looked like an athlete at an early age. If he's kept that rate of developing, he'll be more than ready for professional football.

Pilton lad.And I think, a Jambo, who's been let down by 'his' team, I'm desperately hoping history will repeat itself!

Not let down. Played for fife elite at same time as his boys club. Was physically way beyond other players his age and his finishing is top drawer. Cracking young player

Or possibly Gullan! Currie can play a bit, power house of a laddie. He's always been much bigger and stronger than his opponents, let's hope he can do it against bigger players. All the best Josh.

Is he the younger brother of Ryan Currie who. played for Livingston and was a performance school lad ? Family were Hearts fans. Ryan was a very talented left sided player let down by his attitude (if it’s a sibling). Hope his feet are more on the ground than Ryan if so.

Good luck to the lad though.
