Couldn't help laughing last night, when I saw that The Tony Macaroni Stadium is now known as the Spagettihad.10/10 for that one.

I fully accept it's childish and not all that funny, but it makes me chuckle every time I hear a Sunderland fan refer to Newcastle's home ground as Sid James Park.

liked Romanov's Megasuperhotelstadium but I don't suppose a dozen cardboard boxes filled with a mad man's crayon drawings counts. Even if 400,000 plums believed in it.

I don’t know the name of the stadium but the danish team of Middelfart have always interested me. Is the stadium the fartdome, do the fans shout cmon the farts. Is farting during the game seen as a form of support for the team.

edit, the farters won 2-0 tonight.

Remember being there for a Scotland game in the early 90s, 2-2 draw. Stayed in Offenburg in Germany for 4 or 5 days, great trip.

The New York Stadium (Rotherham) always sounded ridiculous to me.
Kit kat Crescent (York) was another though I think they've changed it since.

You must have had a good old ‘tee-hee’ At Shrewsbury Town’s stadium name as well?

Sadly, since they moved to a new ground about 10 years ago, it’s name now is a bit more mundane.

Montgomery Waters Meadow just doesn’t have the same impact as Gay Meadow and all the connotations that go with that. Initially I thought they’d changed the name to assuage the PC Brigade, but apparently not the case.

Was it not something to do with Rangers never losing at Ibrox the way the good guys never lost at castle greyskull or is that a .net myth?

Hate to be a miserable monday so and so, but am I the only one that doesn't find any of our attempts at changing the name of Tynecastle very funny?

Pink Bus Shelter, Swine-Castle?

Just as poor as their "Fester Road" attempts for me
