Anyone have a clue or info what the hell has happened to him, came off the bench to play very well then he's vanished into thin air the last two games.

To be fair, it was a bad challenge he got in the cup game, wouldn't be surprised if there was a wee knock.

I seem to recall we were expecting to see more of the young players this season. I was with a Motherwell-supporting mate on Saturday, so among the Motherwell fans. He kept pointing out young players from their academy who were doing well for them. Until Oli came on, we had three ex-academy players on the pitch, but the most recent graduate was Paul Hanlon

It wasn’t a great tackle and feared the worst at the time, incredibly no FK to Hibs

That's good news, because he's head and shoulders above Newell and I've not seen anything from Middleton to make me think he's worth a start over Fraser.

I find that incredible. Proper football player.

I like him but if he can't even get into this squad full of mediocrity then its not looking good for him.

And yet our Manager came with a reputation for promoting young players into the first team.

I think.

Tend to agree. I think he is well worth a run in the team but if he can't get in just now then will it ever happen?

Another odd one. He was featuring weekly and all of a sudden he can’t get in to the squad at all.

Why? Not being in the squad for a few games under Hecky is really unlikely to make any difference for his career here.

It's doing nothing for his development as he is getting almost zero minutes on the pitch.

That’s what happens when you bring in a young loan player from another team, blocks the pathway of your own players

I wouldn't say he's played plenty but let's see how he gets on in future games.

Thanks Billy, I knew you'd know what the script was.

Fraser has looked very good in his outings so far, so I was very surprised he's not been involved as much, I'm also a bit annoyed that Gullan has went on loan as I felt he was ready for a lot more game time and with him scoring 2 in 2 for Raith, I feel he could've been a good option for us off the bench.

Thanks for sharing - very disheartening to hear though. As he looks like a bright spark when he has played this season ...

God only knows why hes seen fit to drop him the last 2 weeks and persist with the likes of Mallan who contributes the square root of #### all

Maybe Hecky is still using his squad rotation policy or maybe he just hasn't got a clue.

The lad is a good player use him.

He should be in the starting 11 never mind no in the squad.

Hecky development of our young players has been terrible
