I've went out from Dunbar a few times, fished around the power station area and been quite successful with sea bass, apparently they like the warm water from the power station.

Been tuna and marlin fishing when in Tenerife and Gran Canaria without much success.

Predominantly I love fly fishing for trout, The Tweed and Clyde mainly but sometimes Morton fishery or Crosswood reservoir (The Water of Leith I think) before it was sold.

I went shark fishing when on holiday in Lanzarote. Someone caught a Hammerhead shark and when they got it on board one of the crew battered it to death with a baseball bat.

Decided it wasn't for me.

Surprised at that as I'm pretty sure they're on the endangered species list and it's illegal to kill them.

I agree though, that's not my idea of fishing.

Should have said that this was about 25 years ago.
