The fact there isn't highlights on the tv is snide.

Why is the no sportscene etc?

Probably because STV or BBC didn't want to pay for them.

Bit like the 'supporters'

No idea. Annoying though, would have liked to have saw the goals from the other ties.

Only BT have the rights and they didn’t bother to send a camera to film the game but they sent a camera for Stephen Craigan to do updates. So much for caring more and all that patter they go on about.

Posted on another thread about this, its his own fault for not trying to clear it with his right foot toward the East stand or out for a corner. Goes with his left instead and makes a complete arse of it getting the ball stuck under him. Defenders need to be able to use both feet these days.

To be fair to him it was probably instinctive to try and kick it with his left. It was a bit unlucky

Aye because he can only use his left, how he's never learned to kick with his right after all these years is a joke

In the lead up to our 4th goal it looks like Vela wins the ball, though a few players stop expecting a free kick. Cliff Pike calls it right as a fairly won tackle. Hopkins obviously didn't agree though. :greengrin

Tell you what I enjoyed the highlights, defence needs to sharp en up.

The highlights made us look decent going forward. Made the defence look shambolic.

Which seems a fair reflection on the day

All of our goals were excellent finishes with some really good moves. Cut out the defensive calamities and we'll be a handy side

Lewis was our only defender in the middle, everybody else was posted missing, dragged to the ball. If Lewis wasn't there, there were about THREE Morton players all waiting just to tap the ball in. Okay, he made a bit of a mess of it ultimately but I think it was a bit harsh on him, at least he was there.

If he has a bit of match fitness from a pre-season he doesn't make a hash of it and the end of the game is far more comfortable, which probably wouldn't have led to the defected own goal off Whittaker.

We've been far from our best recently but if we didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have any just now.
