I want to start creating music/ film quizzes, but rather than just have the usual questions, I'd like to be able to play clips of intros, dialogue etc.

Can anyone recommend any software available, free or inexpensive, that would allow me to record and edit from Spotify/ YouTube/ DVDs etc?

Audicity is a very good and simple sound editor so you can take parts of song u wish to use like intro etc.

Media human I use to d/load stuff from YouTube. I can then further edit music with audacity.

Excellent, thanks.

Will Audicity take music straight from Spotify?

The better bet is to use a website that creates MP3s from YouTube vids and then edit the MP3 files.
