He has and is also 4-2 down in the 2nd set.

Today was never about the result though and more about how his body copes with playing singles tennis again.

The signs have been encouraging so far.

He's confirmed he's not playing singles at the US Open. He's booked in for a couple of singles events in Asia next month. I think he's hoping to play singles at the Australian Open in January. He's still got five months to prepare for that so fingers crossed.
