Cheers - the name reminds me of my childhood as well.

I did give careful consideration to changing to a more obviously Hibs-related name after some constructive feedback on here, and decided that I'd stick with Longbangers.

Yeah, thought you'd chatted more than you'd perhaps meant to. That's okay though, who of us doesn't want to chat about Hibs? Perhaps do the review of the last game, then preview of the upcoming game and then the Hibs XI / other features.

BTW it was Liam Craig after a slight discussion with someone in the west lower and the exercise bikes are a memory for me as well. Probably Yogi the innovator copying the Scottish rugby team.

Also reckon Doidge would be an Escort or a Fiesta man.

I knew it was someone that went on to play for us but I had in my grass it was Cregg. It was definitely Liam Craig.

One of the worst refereeing performances ever. Nothing major but just continual incorrect decisions that built up over the 90 minutes. I worked beside a Falkirk fan at the time and on the Monday he asked me to give an example of a bad decision and I was going “mind that throw in he gave to you that was ours?”

Hmm no sure about nothing major. Did he not fail to send off a falkirk player for a 2nd yellow when he had already been booked? For some reason i had it in my head that he went off with an "injury" in the 2nd half and was replaced by the forth official but that might have been the falkirk semi

Freeland was unreal that game, like he was going out of his way to get decisions wrong. I don’t think I can remember a referee losing control of a match the way he did that day.

The Trump thing you were talking about, it was at a fundraiser and the guys name was Whithe, pronounced With, Trump's team decided to go with the phonetic spelling on the teleprompter, so not to confuse the leader of the free world, unfortunately he went off script at the wrong point and spelt it off the teleprompter, saying 'What a great name!!" :faf:
