As long as it costs a fortune then I'm all in favour of the appointment of a Lone arranger.

This is Budge telling Levein he can't be trusted doing that role. In fact she got the idea after a discussion with Dempster.
It’s a good idea but his role must be more expansive than a loans manager

Sounds like job for the boys. Genuinely how many players are going to be loaned out 3 or 4?

My thoughts entirely sherbet.... what a waste of resources just to con the 400,000 that they are investing and all is well.
Maybe brought in to ease Potter out before he craps all over the shiny new dressing rooms at the thought of facing the Mighty Hibees
Levein has form goin back to 1986 . Mita should have been ****a

It’s not really a Loans Manager when you’re loaning him to yourself.

Hopefully we don't plan to do this. In fairness did Man City not have Lescott essentially doing this role? Meaning he went around visiting clubs where players were on loan. Big difference between 20-30 players out on loan and 3-5 though.

Good to see FoH money being spent well. Hopefully they hire Neil Pointin as Director of throw ins and Paul Ritchie as Chief Coin Toss Strategist.

especially when the 3-5 are unlikely to have any value 3 years down the track

Lescott does it at Man City with about 2 squads worth of players up and down the UK and abroad.
Naysmith will be going to watch 3 or 4 19 year olds at Alloa 20 mins away.

According to the BBC Hearts only have one player out on loan. Wonder what he will do to fill his time.

He’ll have to justify his pay packet, by sending quite a few out on loan. They do have an awful lot of players though

Manchester City I’m sure started this. I think Lescott is in charge of there’s.

Whisper I heard when he was appointed at QoS was that that was his stepping stone and for experience before getting the big job for the Tiny team. Burnt his boats there though and can't see him in that role now, unless as a scaretaker when Potter gets expelliarmussed.

Maybe it is just me, but maybe it has got nothing to do with football.
Maybe he is going to be in charge of knocking on doors and rustling up cash from the believers to help fund the stand overspend :greengrin
