Yeah, I got 4 tickets for the 1st semi. It was the fans first tickets so only 85 euros each as well. I realise 85 euros is a lot for a ticket but comparatively its decent.
Also got the last 16 game at Hampden on the 30th.

Don't know yet, it'll be toss of a coin (or ridiculously complicated draw) to decide who's at home. The irony being, if it's at Wembley, the Scotland Supporters Club will be allocated more tickets than if it was Hampden.

They sold a lot more than 10k in the initial sales, way more than the new reduced capacity of 12500. The participating nations are guaranteed 16% of the capacity. With more than the capacity having already been sold, they had to cancel some. The VAST majority of the tickets sold as the PNA(participating nations allowance) are the 50 euro tickets. I believe only 200 of the near 3000 that went the SSC are the 185 euro category.

I have huge sympathy for those who have had tickets cancelled but there was no solution that wouldn't upset some. I have mates who have travelled all over the World for 20-30 years following Scotland, some who were in Kazakhstan for that defeat, who can't get tickets. I'm thankful I got for all three.

Hopefully you'll get the Hampden ones. I'm hoping that having not heard anything about my Wembley tickets they should be ok, the games are only 3 weeks away now.....

cheers bud.

I'm trying to be philosophical about it, I've had a pretty good pandemic compared to a lot of people so if the worst of it is losing some football tickets it's not so bad.

I am also absolutely raging about it.

These two thoughts are fighting it out at the moment.

I’m not speaking with any information but surely they’re absolutely bound to be? Otherwise it’ll defeat the purpose, and it’ll actually be worse at the end as far more people leave at the same time.

Not sure how they could be sold on or at least how you could trust someone selling them.

When you download the ticket via the app it asks you to confirm it's for you or if you're transferring it to someone else. There are no physical tickets, that I know of, as I've paid extra to get physical tickets as a memento and these won't arrive until after the games have taken place.

I guess so, but would that be reliant on someone trusting the seller to do that or them trusting the buyer to pay after receiving the details? Having said that, I understand all online transactions carry a certain amount of risk, so if you do it through a site that offers protection then I guess you'd be ok. Never bought tickets for anything from a 3rd party, with the exception of someone directly outside a gig or a match selling a physical ticket, so I have no experience of how this works. I guess online tickets are going to be the way forward and I purchased a new charging block to make sure my phone doesn't run out of juice before I get into the Scotland games!

Apparently no food or drink kiosks will be open at Hampden, but free bottles of water will be give out. Glasgow Council are worried that queuing would not be socially distanced. No food or drink will be allowed in.

However, a UEFA shop will be open in the stadium.

Not the least bit surprised. It’s always been the bare minimum to support scottish football. Would be a bit ironic if the First Minister was in the main stand given how little she and her govt have done to support football (I am not questioning how hard she has worked on overall pandemic by the way)

Scotland having its own team in world football is something that kept "nationalism" alive through the 20th century. It is one area where we stand on the international stage equal to all. To suggest that a government that wants independence for Scotland wants to undermine that is bonkers.

SG are at fault for lack of any support for Scottish football. 600 fans and all that....

In terms of the Hampden match I would be astonished if UEFA have made the decision to restrict all of this, this will be part of the signed off SG and SFA proposal to get as many fans in as we are allowed.

Meanwhile Murrayfield can have a non essential friendly match next week with 17.5k, just like that.

Glasgow was in tier 3 when they first announced and then cancelled the 600 fans.

If Edinburgh's rates were high and there was pressure on hospitals in the area I'd expect the crowd for Murrayfield at the end of the month to be much reduced or even cancelled.

I also wouldn't consider playing a European Championship game in Glasgow to be any more essential than the Lions playing the first game of their tour as UEFA could re-locate it which they did with the Champions League Final when they found out that their top brass and sponsors would have to isolate if the game was played in London, having already moved it from Istanbul.

To get an idea of scale, The Meadows is 58 acres, while Hyde Park is 350 acres. The park has a lot of gates and served by several tube stops. Unless you know exactly where folk are meeting, then you could be doing a lot of searching.

If I was doing it (which I'm not) , I'd go to Green Park (next to Hyde Park). Supermarket close by, loads of food places, deck chairs, 5 mins from Piccadilly Circus, and close enough to the general public to cause a scene.

https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/7215045/scotland-fans-hampden-euro-2020-food-drink

SCOTLAND fans face the grim prospect of being inside Hampden for up to five hours at their Euro 2020 games with nothing to eat or drink apart from a bottle of water after it was revealed refreshment kiosks will be closed.
But UEFA merchandise stalls will still be open.

Steve Clarke's side face the Czech Republic a week today in their eagerly-anticipated first game at a major tournament for 23 years in Glasgow.

Hampden will only have 12,000 fans inside and out of those only 1,972 have gone to members of the Scotland Supporters Club. All ticket holders have been given strict entry slots for their time of arrival with some told to go through the turnstiles up to three hours before kick off.

However, they will be stunned to discover that there will be nothing to eat or drink as all food outlets are set to be closed.

Small bottles of water will be distributed and there are discussions whether fans will be able to bring in energy bars to eat.

The reason given is because it would be hard to maintain a socially distant queuing system.

Scotland is already the only venue at the Euros where no alcohol will be on sale due to long-standing Scottish authorities rules, but now fans could have to sit around for up to five hours with only water to quench their thirst.

At a meeting last week between the Association of Tartan Army Clubs, Glasgow Council Host City Mobility Team, police and other fans groups, the shock news about the closure of food outlets was revealed.

However, UEFA's merchandise stalls will remain open.

The Association of Tartan Army Clubs minutes from the meeting revealed: "The UEFA app states that no food and drink is to be brought in as 'there will be plenty of options to choose from once you’re inside.'

"But it was announced at the meeting that the kiosks would be closed and that free bottles of water would be available inside.

"A suggestion was made that fans can bring in a small snack, an energy bar was given as an example, which we pointed out was unacceptable.

"We also advised that we would find it difficult to encourage fans to arrive for the early entry slots if they were to remain inside the stadium for potentially five plus hours without any food.

"The reasons given for no food outlets was that socially distanced queuing could not be guaranteed.
"Football Supporters Europe pointed out the fact that UEFA fans shop were being permitted and this would pose the exact same challenge. They are escalating this on our behalf and we will see how this goes at the start of the week.

"We have subsequently pointed out that this is unacceptable for fans with certain medical conditions and also that no other entertainment industry would enforce such draconian sanctions be it rugby, cinema, theatre etc."

Scotland fans are already waiting to discover if they will need a Covid test for the match against England at Wembley and this could be the latest blow to a tournament hit by numerous setbacks.

You can guarantee they will be. The SG are a ****ing disgrace with the way they treat football fans in this country.

It will be interesting to see. The SG cannot divorce the actual attendance of fans in stadiums with the pre and post pub routine and the perception of football fans versus the more civilized rugger types who will have a safe Pimms before the game once they have parked the Range Rover. But in fact they could have restricted this heavily if they wanted to. Kids can’t even buy a drink for what will be hours in the stadium for many.

As at today Edinburgh is heading towards higher infection rate than Glasgow. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow should really be in level 3. You can bet your life we we had a game at ER later this month we would not be allowed more than 500 fans.

Exactly!

They can't pick and choose and I'm running out of patience with these restrictions as I refuse to believe that attending a football match isn't safer than being in a supermarket or inside a pub or cinema.

The clubs and football fans needs to start forcing this issue as otherwise they will kill many clubs off in Scotland...

How did you get them?

Managed to get two tickets for Croatia game. 5pm arrival 😱

Quick question I have two seats - 144 and 148, I assume this is consistent with others to have such a gap that makes up the social distancing 25% requirement? There shouldn’t be a 146 that I am missing?! Or sits between me and my son?!

4 seats between everyone at Hampden.

Reselling ticket site and then transferred into UEFA app. Fairly straight forward. Paid a premium but I was lucky to get to see section and row numbers and as good a view for what are cat 3 tickets.

Correct, not sure who said you can't. It's just been confirmed on Scotland Today as well.

Tickets available for Czech Rep v Croatia at Hampden, 5pm on day of England v Scotland game. Best seats I think as they're 185 and 145 euros each....

There is so much utter garbage on this thread mostly from the dopies that read/believe anything written in The Sun or The Daily Record.

Water is being provided in the stadium and food in the form of sandwiches or small snacks such as energy bars, mars bars or crisps are allowed to be taken in.

Just a bit of cursory research also reveals that the 30 minutes time slots are strongly recommended but you won't be turned away if you turn up late or early.

Just been emailed this from uefa....

What's New?

The Stadium layout

Hampden Park stadium will not look the same as you are used to. There will be an outer security perimeter around the stadium with three entrances for ticketholders.

Each ticket will have a specific entrance (A, C or D). Use the entrance indicated on your ticket to gain entry to the stadium.

Below we have included a map of how this will look.....

You should get to the stadium in time for your dedicated 30-minute entry time slot. These slots have been created to follow social distancing guidelines, and we strongly recommend you follow them for a stress-free arrival.

Volkswagen Mobility Makers, our volunteers, will greet you on arrival and assist you through the stadium entry process.

Food & Drink

As a result of current government COVID-19 safety guidelines in the UK, unfortunately food and drink concession stands within Hampden Park stadium will not be open.
Free drinking water will be provided. You will not be able to bring bottles, cans or refillable drinks containers into the stadium.
You will be allowed to bring a small amount of food (e.g. sandwiches, snack bars, chocolate bars, crisps, fruit) into the stadium.
Please make sure the food is packaged in the clear bags that will be provided at the start of the entry procedures to the stadium.
For more information, please be sure to download the official UEFA EURO 2020 app or visit the Glasgow spectator guide on UEFA.com.

We hope you have a great experience at EURO 2020 at Hampden Park and look forward to welcoming you back to football.

How big is this fan zone

It's almost all of Glasgow green. It's to accommodate 3,000 fans at a time but according to some it is big enough to get 80,000 in. TRNSMT festival will be on the same area and expect 50,000 in September.

Mask wearing at all times? Good luck with that :greengrin

I'll wear mine when I'm moving around but it'll be in my pocket once I get to my seat.

I'll also be getting a supporters bus through and it'll be interesting to see how that's handled. There's been the usual warning about taking bevvy but nothing about masks and distancing, etc, and as far as I know it's a full bus.

I just don't get what is wrong with that. Sadly I got balloted out and had to get a refund but wearing a mask, queuing, social distancing and all that stuff was all part of the process and not a hassle in the slightest as far as we were concerned.

I don't have a problem with most of that, but sitting 2 metres away from the nearest person and still having to wear a mask aint happening.

That's over 5 hours, outdoors, wearing a mask. Anyway, I've got my packed lunch to eat :greengrin

Makes no sense. 12000 turning up before the game would have been some what staggered, 10mins,15 mins,20 mins before the game. 12000 fans will all leave at the final whistle if they dont need to stay.

Personally I wouldn't be going near a fan zone right now. I don't get the logic of it when so many other events are still unable to proceed, even on a socially distanced basis.

Mind you, from a political point of view I guess the SNP might be reluctant to scrap an event which offers potential pictures of saltire waving crowds

I don't think there were over 2,000 tickets sold to fans living abroad, including away fans.

I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of no-shows were freebies to sponsors and officials that just couldn't be arsed going.

There was quite a number of tickets being sold online at exorbitant prices, so quite a few folk seem to have tried cashing in (but presumably failed).

Tickets have been available from the touts outside Hampden for both Czech Republic games and all at face value.

They were sponsors tickets or UEFA tickets or other countries freebie federation tickets which always make their way into the touts hands due to all the unseen connections between all the parties.

I would expect Scotland v Croatia tickets to be available in exactly the same way if you go to the Mount Florida railway exit point or the ticket entry points especially ticket entry A which is where the higher value tickets enter

Given its all electronic/App based though then its a real buyer beware scenario.

Not all through the app. I won hospitality tickets for 4 to Czech Republic v Croatia match. Got actual tickets.

Hospitality was $h1t3 , match was $h1t3 so left at halftime to find a boozer to watch Scotland game.
