McInnes said Aberdeen got dragged in to playing Hearts at one nil and it was just foul after foul. Want a fanny that is Aberdeen's game.

Fouls
Aberdeen 18
Hearts 20

I think we know how BOTH those teams play.

The police will obviously spend the next year tracking them all down and bringing them to justice. I also noticed that bawbag Andy weegie Walker refrained from even mentioning it in his Sky commentary, let alone say they were disgraceful. Nice songs too from the mighty Sevco but will they be hammered .....nah :grr:

Only saw a few seconds of today's games on the news then checked who had been booked. The rangers and sheep players who scored the late winners jumped the advertising boards and celebrated with their flock, is this not a booking anymore, or just not for them?

Not Sportscene but just watched our highlights on YouTube. We did play some decent stuff and would have scored 3 or 4 on another day. Confirms what I thought last night that the reaction on here was totally out of proportion.
It wasn't spectacular but it wasn't awful either.

its funny how most of the defenders in the SPL don't go wrestling every week with the opposition forwards but according to Levein and the Hearts fans they all want to wrestle with Itchy . Wonder why he is the only one they wrestle with or is it the other way round?? This useless lump of a guy thinks that wrestling defenders and falling over constitutes playing football. Typical Craig Levein player and utterly useless.

Brief... but enough to see that should have been 3 or 4 goal comfy win. Flo's 'offside' an absolute travesty. Doidge's 2 sitters. Marciano... pure entertainment and class. Scotty... the reason we aren't in Europe this season... and will be next season... different class and will win us points we lost last season

Slivka should be starting on Sun at Mordor .

What a ****ty attendance in Dingwall.

Was over 4,000 with no opposition fans. Quite good compared to Hamilton, Livi or st Johnstone’s efforts. Small population catchment area but well supported. Actually quite admire what Ross County do and how they run their club. Always competitive too

When you consider that Dingwall's population is only around 6000 then I'd say they do pretty well.

Watching it again on Sportscene tonight, Doidge makes a great run to free up space for Kamberi to run into to receive Allan’s pass (the one where GK saved Kamberi’s shot and Doidge couldn’t put rebound away).

His pass to Allan for the goal was a great ball too. Made it look much easier than it was.

Yes, he should have scored the rebound and the one after, but all strikers will miss chances. Off top of my head, Keatings missed an absolute sitter against Hearts in cup replay win at ER, and Boyle missed an open goal after rounding GK in 3-3 draw with Falkirk at ER a few years ago. Every week, you’ll see a top striker miss a chance in Premier League, La Liga etc.

I thought he did very well when he came on yesterday.

Take away Rockies saves as they were relatively straightforward they could easily still have had two or three themselves.

I found the opening fantasy sequence of 'lets kid on what it would be like if your team was winning the league' sodding cringeworthy, to them it was a bit of fun, to me it just highlighted the depressing possibility that Celtic could well do a clean sweep again this year as they have done a highly embarrassing 3 times now.

As for Hibs v St Mirren … how the hell in the position he was in could the linesman give offside against Kamberi? I thought the Elgin decision was one of the worst I'd ever seen and then less than two weeks later we get one equally as bad … its unforgivable. I felt a bit for Doidge to be honest, the ball was just slightly behind him on the rebound, but wow, the more you see his miss from the Kamberi cross the worse it gets :greengrin

Aberdeen v Hearts was a clog fest and I really fear for us against either one of them because I don't think we'll get a chance to play football …. also, how the hell did the Gorgie battering ram escape a sending off, I've seen folk get 6 months in jail for less than that.

You’ve got the green glasses on with that assessment.

We’re we good overall? No

Did we play decent football? No - slow and pedestrian

Did we look like a team that’s going to concede lots of goals? Yes - not many teams will be as poor as st Mirren in the final third

Did we show promise? Only when Hecky changed it. Btw how many times does he set us up completely wrong and we have to change after half time?

Do the new signings look good? They need time but on the weekends evidence absolutely not apart from Jackson

St Mirren - could they have scored two or three goals? If they were half
Decent? Easily

We did have a couple of chances but don’t kid yourself. It was a poor abject performance and one that we saw a lot tail end of last season ,

Massive improvement needed otherwise we will struggle hugely against hearts Aberdeen rangers Celtic Kilmarnock and any othe team that is looking for top six

It was slow. It was boring. We didn’t create that much, despite people trying to make up that we did. Our passing was awful, our defence looked shaky and we looked out of ideas early on in the final third. Thank god for Scott Allan.

If we play like we did on Saturday this season, we won’t be anywhere near the top 4 or 5 in the league.

We hit the woodwork twice, Doidge missed two sitters, Kamberi missed a 1v1 with the keeper and had a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside. Plenty chances there.

We were so open because of the number of bodies we committed forward. We left it man for man at the back at times because of this. I’ll be shocked if we do the same against better teams.

FWIW I think Scott Allan was as bad as everyone else on Saturday but came up with a finish when it mattered.

Easter road is closer and far more pleasant walk from the station.

I agree it's quite a walk from the train station to the ground. Not even sure if there were any pavements when I did it back in 2004. Even walked back to the train station in the dark. Wasn't the safest of walks from what I remember. We won 2-1 so that helped. In case anybody wonders where we are talking About, it's Livvy. It might have been easier getting a First Bus to Livvy from Edinburgh as it's a shorter walk to the ground. I think.
