Looking like there are a lot of tickets left. Hopefully will sell a fair few between now and Tuesday, particularly as the team are steadily improving with each game. We may well see the starting 11 for the St Mirren game either starting or getting the 2nd 45.

I'd still be surprised if we see the starting 11 on the pitch at the same time

Ps have 4 tickets for me and the family

Will be a good game I think. Newcastle squad from recent Preston game below have the makings of strong team especially if new 40 m guy is the business. Hopefully good runout with no injuries.

Team: Woodman, Manquillo (Sterry 46), Dummett (Clark 46), Fernandez, Schar (Lascelles 46), Ritchie (Ki 46), M.Longstaff (S.Longstaff 46), Hayden (Colback 46), Shelvey (Murphy 46), Muto (Almiron 46), Aarons (Joelinton 46).
Subs n/u: Darlow, Watts, Cass, Allan, Sorensen.

I can remember the crowd for Sunderland being pretty poor and that was in the afternoon. Think they were championship at the time. Think it was one of the only times pennant pulled on a shirt for us

You would hope so. Certainly print at home and mobile ticketing is available.

Looking forward to it, always good to get high level opposition to Easter Road even in a friendly.

Is it true Newcastle have sold the full of south stand?

They'd just been relegated from the premier league.

I think Jack Rodwell played for them that day (first half, they changed the whole team at ht). He made 2 appearances for them that season whilst picking up £70k per week.

Don’t think so, they can buy tickets at ER tomorrow night

Don’t know how accurate this website is but if true it looks like they’ll have a few big names playing.

Not sure if I’m just hugely out of touch with the EPL... but who if any of them are big names? Newcastle are probably the most depressing EPL team we could be playing imo :agree:

There was the boy they just signed for millions a week or so ago, the boy who they signed for about £22m in January......

Oh, jonjo Shelvy, I can remember his name.

Big names is maybe the wrong way to put it but there was a few I’d heard of in that list.

I’m the same as you though, massively out of touch with players from down south.

A packed away end would be barry. Never happened yet.

You'd surely see an almost full ER for that one to welcome him back.
