But Im quite impressed so far too, hes tall, mobile and by all accounts versatile.

Looked very good. Good amount of composure which was nice to see and put a few nice balls over the top as well. Maybe tired a wee bit but all very promising.

Was speaking to a villa supporter on holiday yesterday about SJM and they can’t speak highly enough about him. Went to great lengths to say he will handle the premiership as well. Pretty sad but just reminded me how much we miss him. So if he can be even half the player we are on a winner.

Looking good so far and a player who looks like he will love the battles and isn't afraid to stick the odd tackle that he won't win to stop attacks and put a marker down.
