For anyone looking for another wee football fix this Wednesday?
Game is at Prestonfield, Linlithgow, 7.30pm KO
Rose have said it’s £5 for adults, and under 16’s are free with an adult
Presume it’s out Reserve/Young team who’ll be playing

To let people know linlithgow Rose have advised that the road leading to ground is shut due to utility work. It will be a lengthy diversion which I should imagine will be sign posted.
I would advise people who are travelling by car to park on Preston Road or the housing scheme opposite.

1-1
Lovely left footed strike by Fairley
I know it’s a friendly, but a 15 year old scoring for Hibs must be some sort of record?

Jimmy O’R played for Hibs first team in the Fairs Cup (UEFA Cup) at 16.

2-1 Rose
Short back pass from Hibs, and Rose forward is brave and clips it beyond Martin
Hibs been playing really well this half with the 10 men

Think Gordon Smith was only 16 when he rattled four past hearts on his Hibs debut. (Think :)

Good run by Gallantes, brought down outside the box. Stirling it’s a great free kick and goalie palms over the bar

Guy at the game showed me the incident on his phone. Blatant punch. Straight red all day long I’m afraid.

Was a really enjoyable game tonight. A good crowd in and a lovely summers night. Rose have a great set up, and the pitch was in immaculate condition
Both teams tried to play football through the midfield. Both had chances to take the lead, before Rose scored just before ht
Sadiki sending off made Hibs change formation, from 442 to 342. Josh Campbell went in the middle of the 3
Hibs came out the blocks quickly in the 2nd half, and scored after a great run by Fairley, and a low left foot shot
Both teams had chances to score, but Rose got the winner late on
The young Hibs team would have benefitted enormously from this run out, against a bigger stronger team
Next match is Hibs Colts in the Challenge Cup on Tuesday 6th August, 7.45pm ko against Elgin.
Venue TBC
Lots of new faces this year, so if you can, try and get along

I didn’t see it either and at first I thought the ref must be giving Hibs a pen.
Was just leaving at the end and asked a guy I know If he knew what the sending off was for. He referred me to the guy who had it on his phone.

Tommy Block was 6 and Jamie Gullan (hammer) was 10.
An enjoyable game in the sunshine and thought we handled ourselves well especially after going down to 10.

Heard conflicting reports in terms of result from folk there, some saying 2-1, others saying 3-1.
Do we have an accurate final scoreline?!

Think some of the home fans had spent too long in the club pre match😄
