I know there are many reasons for a player not to sign up, but with a new owner and new manager for FUTURE reference we really should be able to compete with Aberdeen over wages ...We have a team that went backwards last year ,the jury is out on Kamberi and his developing lack of close control...and yet again and FOR SO MANY TIMES IN PAST 2/3 YEARS we hear about passing up simple chances ,if indeed we are to progress then we will need to spend on real quality or we will just have the unacceptable same old same old and players repeating the same old WE KNOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO slogan.
A team(in the broadest sense) of our stature needs a mentality to match at all levels come on before we kick a ball in a serious way gives us that sparkle only class can bring to a club..
We will then be rewarded with a European place and a cup or maybe two!!Need to spend to accumulate without getting carried away.
We just fell away last season which seems to have been forgotten.....use that as a stepping stone ...
sort it out and fast. and fingers crossed we do indeed move up a level THIS SEASON.
That's it no more complaining just action and smiles we hope from NOW.

We won't be spending any more money than we already do. Based on the forums, people seem to want corners filled in, indoor pitches and behind the scenes stuff more than a better team on the pitch.

what if indoor pitches and behind the scenes stuff gets us a better team on the pitch?

Said the same about the training ground about 15 years ago.

Players changing the goalposts after us matching Aberdeen’s offer?
We’re within our rights to say “see ya”.
If the club feels they’ve been played beyond what’s to be expected in negotiations it’s a bad smell. Good luck to Aberdeen.
Going toe-to-toe to get summit can result in “winners curse” see RBS / ABM-Ambro l

Exactly, slow and steady at the very least should keep us alive. We need to rely on some luck regarding players/youth turning good, only then would I suggest we throw more cash at the team in order to further improve and challenge at the top. In the mean time we need patience.

Aberdeen wanted Scott Allan in his final year at Celtic on a pre. We beat them to him and so I understand why they raised the bar to get Ojo. It hurts especially bcos we brought him to Scotland in the first it feels like theft. But we can use that to our advantage on the pitch. Still we need a similar player.
