I was given Time for Heroes for Christmas when it came out but no longer had a DVD player but sort of inherited a blue ray player when my great uncle sadly recently passed away.
So connected it all up tonight, got the kids off to sleep and popped a cork on a nice Malbec.
Now here I am, 49 years old and greeting away like a baby!
Just thought I’d share

PS- is it available for download anywhere?

Sorry to hear of your uncle mate.

I would also like to know if this is available anywhere? I had the original DVD but it got launched with the old DVD player and only have the box now with the full match disc 2.

I know this will all have been discussed 100 times before but these different camera angles are outstanding.
Keep thinking that I should wake up the kids to share it with me!

Its still on sale.

Would love it on my phone/laptop though, probably going to leave a blu ray player set up just to watch this over and over and over.
CDs and DVDs are a thing of the past, makes sense to have a download available

If you have a DVD drive on a pc it is fairly easy to rip it onto a pc

True, but how many people have dvd drives nowadays, and even back in 2016? Me and two other members of my family would have loved to have bought this, but none of us have dvd drives on our laptops. Most laptops haven't had this for years so really it's something Hibs missed a trick with IMO. They'd have sold a huge number of downloads of it had been available.

Agree with comments above. Would love to see it, however have no DVD etc to play it on. It should be made as a digital download. I am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of others who would like to have a digital copy.

Or a Mac with an external drive.

I’m amazed people haven’t watched it yet !?!?!

One of the best things you will ever watch.

A must watch for any Hibs fan - great insight and some hilarious stories plus unseen footage of the final.

Just watching Time for Heroes Part I

Quite a good watch

What was Jase thinking trying the Panenka in a National cup semi final?

Wonder what Stubbsy said to him? :greengrin

Edit:

Lots of different camera angles and player commentary from the final

That's quite a weird thing for Stubbs to have said.

Have to say, Hibs took ages to get the DVD sorted but they nailed it.

Brilliant piece of work.
