Jo Swinson has to be the vainest MP ever.

But, when there's a general election, the Lib Dems could win a few seats and potentially hold a bit of power, again! Let's hope they don't **** it up this time.

I doubt it. Brexit is going to happen and that will leave them in their usual world of complete irrelevance where they belong. I feel really sorry for the people of England when that bunch of charlatans are the only credible alternative to the two main parties. Since they last held power in the early 20th century they’ve tried to reinvent themselves by adopting every populist position that’s going. They’ve positioned themselves as a party that can make up the numbers in a coalition, but when that happened they achieved nothing and suffered as a consequence. They’re a complete waste of ****ing time and Jo Swinson is a Tory that wants to build a statue of Thatcher.

I'm saying that as someone who's voted for the Lib dems on more occasions than I've voted for the SNP, maybe I still have a soft spot for them despite their betrayal of students, when I was a student! Strong chance of them taking seats in metropolitan areas. I expect a strong showing in London including my part of North London which has swung from Labour the Liberal in the last two elections.

I think you are right and their comeback is on. Their entering into the Coalition won’t be that much of an impediment, now that the key players have all moved on. The political landscape has shifted massively.

The votes they will take from Labour will be the more centrist ones, who aren’t ideological about 2010 and who recognised that the Labour administration had simply run out of time.

The Lib Dems going all out against Brexit was a tactical victory, they have and will continue to hoover up loose Labour votes because of Corbyn’s indifference-cum-passive aggressiveness towards the desire of the majority of member to remain in the EU.

Tactical indeed. Makes you wonder how anti-brexit they really are though. We'll see their true colours yet again when it comes to the crunch.

By that I mean she's kept her head down while the Lib Dems were in the wilderness, but is wanting the gig at the same time there's a chance of Lib Dems leader being a power broker.
