Netflix drama about a notorious rape conviction in 1989 in New York.

Fantastic 4 parter. I was going to watch it over a few days but ended up binge watching it.

It’s superbly done the actors playing the 5 young and old were amazing.

Very difficult watch at times.

These were the guys that Trump at the time took out an add in the Paper calling for the death sentence!

He still won’t believe that they didn’t do it. Having hung his flag to the guilty mast Trump won’t back down.

Likewise, it’s on our list to watch.

Binge watched it today.

Truly shocking that they were found guilty in the first place, but at least they got some justice. I’ll bet there’s 10’s of thousands done jail time over there that will. Ever see justice. The “Making a Murderer” series highlighted for me how corruption is possible in the face of overwhelming evidence.

There is another documentary about a young black guy on death row, I think it may be called 13 days? Count down to the execution date, there is at the very least reasonable doubt (based on the documentary which was non political) For me the most frustrating aspect is you are here now so that's it. No one prepared to revisit cases and the evidence or lack of. We do not have a great record with wrongful imprisonment thank God we dont have the death penalty

Finished watching this a few days ago. I was already familiar with the story, but the dramatisation was really well done. This case and the West Memphis 3 cases have always horrified me. Shocking miscarriages of justice.

Just noticed that the Kalief Browder story is now on Netflix. Anyone who is interested in the Central Park 5 case should find it interesting, was about to say enjoy it, but I don’t think that’s the right emotion. It’s a four part documentary produced by Jay-Z and it’s a disturbing look into the American justice system.

The Memphis 3 are guilty as sin. There is evidence to connect them to it and they were released, in my opinion, due to media pressure and half truths being told. There is plenty online to go through to decide for yourself but please don't base your opinion on the "documentary" as it really doesn't tell the full story

I watched it and didn't think much of it to start with. Then it gets to a point and you realise what your watching and then by the end of it your thinking, Jesus.

The Central Park 5 is a must watch for anyone who's watched When they see us.
