I never watched the game. So I've been catching up via the BBC website reporting. Going by their stats the Dutch had almost 3 times as many shots at goal than England and 5 times as many actually on target. ..

The Dutch also had more corners and a higher possession of the ball - so I'm gonna deduce it was a pumping for Gareth's brave boys.

Yes but the last 5 minutes of normal time it was all England. Thats the point Carragher was making.

No they absolutely didn't deserve to win, I was one pointing out that Carragher was right at the time, England were on top in injury time, they just failed to take advantage.
